Earlier this week, a retailer known as Entertainment Earth posted some God of War Ragnarok Merchandise set for release in July 2022. It’s nothing more than hats and socks, but it’s likely to be released in the lead-up to launch or on the back of a marketing push. Finally, Entertainment Earth removed the merchandise, indicating that they may have been listed too soon. Of course, this can be nothing more than a simple background error and these elements will not be seen for some time, but the timing is interesting. PlayStation State of Play is due out later this week, and while Sony has stated that it will focus heavily on VR games and third-party titles, it hasn’t denied it. God of War Ragnarok can appear in the event. With only 6 months left in 2022, Sony has to start marketing the game soon.
